How we rank Webflow freelancers: methodology
We score every freelancer on seven public criteria: Webflow partner status, marketplace record, projects, technical scope, years on Webflow, published price and availability. Every value comes from a public page (the person's Webflow profile, Upwork, Contra or their own site) and carries the date we checked it. Everyone is scored by the same formula; only the weights differ between our lists.

From points to the 0–10 score
The weighted score is the sum of weight × points over the seven criteria, so it runs from 0 to 100. The display score maps everyone shown on this site, the 10 freelancers in the main ranking and the people in the sub-rankings, linearly onto the 0–10 scale: the lowest weighted score becomes 7.50 and the highest 9.80, rounded to two decimals.
Every person gets between 0 and 1 point on each of seven criteria. Missing values score 0 points.
Marketplace record. r is completed marketplace jobs (Upwork jobs plus Contra hires) plus Webflow recommendations. The log scale keeps a very large job count from outweighing everything else, and 100 jobs earn the full point.
Projects. n is the larger of published case studies and completed marketplace jobs, banded 0 / 1–2 / 3–5 / 6+.
Technical scope and years. a is the number of the 10 technical areas backed by a service or a case study, and y is full years on Webflow, capped at 10.
Partner status, price and availability are step values. Partner status: 1 for a Certified, Premium or Enterprise tier on the Webflow profile, 0.5 for a partner profile with no tier label or for listed Webflow exams, 0 otherwise. Price: 1 for a published hourly rate, 0.5 for a project price only, 0 for none. Availability: 1 for accepting projects, 0.5 for a waitlist or start date, 0 otherwise.
Weighted score. wi are this site's weights, which total 100.
Display score. Smin and Smax are the lowest and highest weighted scores of everyone shown on this site, main ranking and sub-rankings together. The result is rounded to two decimals.
Ties. Equal weighted scores keep their order in the published list.

S = 97. On this site the lowest weighted score shown is 39.67 (Carlo Ciccarelli, hourly rates list) and the highest is 97, so D = 7.5 + 2.3 × (97 − 39.67) / (97 − 39.67) = 9.80. For Patrick Urwyler, S = 49, so D = 7.5 + 2.3 × (49 − 39.67) / 57.33 = 7.87.
